Save a rare book or manuscript

This is a book printed in 1602 on the Roman Republic. Compiled from the writings of the Roman historian Sallust. It originally belonged to a ‘Peter Proby’, as per his inscription on the title page. The binding is missing completely.

Arnoldus Clapmarius, 1611. An early work on public law and political science, this book has been damaged by water and subsequently become mouldy. It requires rebinding and extensive paper repairs to render it usable once more.
